The Texas A&M AgriLife
Extension Service and the Wise County Extension Leadership Advisory Board will
hold the Texas Community Futures Forum from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. April 14
in the Lecture Hall of the Weatherford College, Wise County Campus. The forum
is being held to assist local Extension agents and the agency’s Leadership
Advisory Board to identify the most critical issues affecting local citizens.
Extension has a rich history of
providing educational programs that address the most critical issues in the
county, specifically in program areas related to agriculture and natural
resources, families and health, youth development and community development. In
order to make sure Extension programs being planned for the future are on
target, Wise County residents are invited to participate in this grassroots,
consensus-building forum.
Input from the local community is
important toward shaping the agency’s focus for the next five years. We want to
make sure we’re meeting the needs of Wise County residents.
The meeting should last less than
the two hours scheduled, and dinner will be served. For more information or to
RSVP, contact the AgriLife Extension office at 940-627-3341 or email me at ttdavis@ag.tamu.edu.
